Transaction fees on MANTRA Chain
Transaction processing on MANTRA Chain is paid for with a network fee, often called gas, in MANTRA. There is no fixed tariff: the fee for one transaction depends on the gas it uses and on the gas price at the time. The network's minimum gas price is not published on mantrachain.io. What MANTRA does publish is a weekly total, and the figures below are copied from it. The terms are defined in the glossary: gas, validator and unbonding.
At the price printed in report 21, $0.004559 per MANTRA on 4 October 2026 (the report credits CoinGecko), the average fee of 0.0136 MANTRA equals about $0.000062 (calculated). Fees are charged in MANTRA, so the dollar amount moves with the price of the coin.

The August week holds six days of data: no blocks were produced on 21 August 2026. The chain was halted from 23:13 UTC on 20 August to 05:26 UTC on 22 August after an exploit, and the network security record gives the timeline.
Cosmos and EVM transactions
MANTRA Chain is built on the Cosmos SDK and has been EVM-compatible since 17 September 2025, so it carries two kinds of transaction. Report 21 splits the week's fees between them: 159.59 MANTRA for Cosmos transactions and 34.11 MANTRA for EVM transactions. EVM transactions were 21.70% of the 14,274 total.

The report prints no average by type. We worked out the transactions of each type from the 21.70% EVM share, then divided each fee total by that count. The two averages describe one week only. They do not show that either type is cheaper for the same operation.

Staking costs and timing
Staking MANTRA has three costs to plan for: the network fee on each staking transaction, the commission the validator keeps, and the time the coins stay locked when you leave. Only the last is published on mantrachain.io. This page shows no reward rate. The rate appears once on this site, with its method and its date, under MANTRA staking: rate, method and risks.

Validator commission
Commission is the share of staking rewards a validator keeps before the rest reaches its delegators. Each validator sets its own, so the cost depends on the validator you choose. No range is published on mantrachain.io. Compare validators on MANTRA Zone, the official staking app, before you delegate.
Unbonding period
The unbonding period is the wait between a request to unstake and the moment the coins can move again. Its length is in the table above, with its source. During the wait the coins cannot be sold or transferred. Rewards and risks are covered in the staking section of the MANTRA token page.
Liquid staking
Liquid staking is the second route MANTRA names. Through Fluxtra a holder stakes MANTRA and receives stMANTRA, a token that stands for the staked position. Fluxtra sets its own fee, which is not published on mantrachain.io. The token depends on its smart contracts as well as on the validators behind it.

Bridging and wallet costs
Tokens move to and from MANTRA Chain by two routes named on mantrachain.io: IBC, the interoperability protocol of Cosmos chains, and the Hyperlane bridge. On the MANTRA Chain side a transfer is a transaction and pays the network fee in MANTRA. Everything else is set by third parties, and none of those figures is published on mantrachain.io.
Checked , source mantrachain.io
| Route | On MANTRA Chain | Third parties | Third-party fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| IBC transfer | Network fee in MANTRA | Relayer fee, if any, and the fee of the other chain | Not published |
| Hyperlane bridge | Network fee in MANTRA | Bridge fee and the fee of the other chain | Not published |
| Wallet | Network fee on each transaction sent | Any service fee the wallet provider adds, for example on a swap inside the wallet | Not published |
| Last reviewed . | |||
Ask the bridge or the wallet for its fee before you confirm a transfer. The ERC-20 OM bridge closed on 15 January 2026. The ticker changed from OM to MANTRA on 2 March 2026 with a 1:4 redenomination, so a fee quoted in OM before that date is in the old unit.

Costs of tokenizing an asset
No price list for tokenizing an asset is published on mantrachain.io. The site's Terms say that MANTRA Chain Association operates the blockchain and offers no products or services of its own. Budget for six lines. Five are paid to other providers, and only the last has a measured figure on this page.
- Legal structuring
- The vehicle or contract that ties the token to the asset, and the offering documents.
- Regulatory approval
- Licences, approvals or exemptions in each market where the token is offered, with the adviser fees they bring.
- Custody
- Safekeeping of the underlying asset and, where one is used, of the tokens.
- Distribution
- Identity checks on investors and the platform or broker that places the token.
- Audit
- Review of the smart contracts, and the financial audit or valuation of the asset.
- Network fees
- Deploying the contracts and every later transaction, paid in MANTRA at the measured averages above.
What the network itself provides is set out on the RWA tokenization platform page. Property adds lines of its own, covered under real estate tokenization costs, and the tokenization guides explain the legal models behind them. For a project estimate, ask about tokenization costs.

MANTRA Finance product fees
Fees for trading and investment products are not network fees, and MANTRA Chain Association does not set them. They belong to Mantra Finance FZE, a separate MANTRA Group company that holds VARA VASP Licence VL/25/02/001 for Exchange Services, Broker-Dealer Services and Management and Investment Services. Its fee schedule is not on mantrachain.io.

Worked examples
Both examples use one input, the measured average of 0.0136 MANTRA per transaction, and the price printed in the same report, $0.004559 per MANTRA on 4 October 2026. The average covers every kind of transaction in that week, from plain transfers to contract calls.
Sending one transfer
- 1 transaction at 0.0136 MANTRA = 0.0136 MANTRA
- 0.0136 MANTRA at $0.004559 = about $0.000062 (calculated)
Illustrative, based on the average for the week to 4 October 2026; your fee depends on gas used.
A month of 100 contract calls
- 100 transactions at 0.0136 MANTRA = 1.36 MANTRA
- 1.36 MANTRA at $0.004559 = about $0.0062 (calculated)
Illustrative, based on the average for the week to 4 October 2026; your fee depends on gas used.

How these figures are collected
Every figure in the fee tables is copied from MANTRA's Weekly Transparency Reports, which draw on on-chain data. The transparency index listed 21 reports on 11 October 2026. The newest, report 21, covers 28 September to 4 October 2026 and was published on 7 October 2026. It carries the note "This report is assembled with AI assistance from on-chain sources." Treat each figure as the report's own and verify it on a block explorer such as MANTRA Scan before you rely on it.
- Measure
- Average fee = the week's total fees divided by the week's transactions. It is a mean across every transaction type, not a quote for one transaction.
- Left out
- Validator commission, bridge and relayer fees, fees of other chains, wallet and exchange fees, and the product fees of Mantra Finance FZE.
- Dollar amounts
- Shown only as dated calculations from the price printed in the same report, and labelled "calculated".

Fees FAQ
How much is a transaction fee on MANTRA Chain?
A transaction on MANTRA Chain cost 0.0136 MANTRA on average in the week of 28 September to 4 October 2026, when 14,274 transactions paid 193.70 MANTRA in total. In the week of 17 to 23 August 2026 the average was 0.0131 MANTRA. There is no fixed tariff: each fee depends on the gas the transaction uses.
Which token pays for gas?
MANTRA, the chain's native coin, pays for gas. The weekly transparency reports state fee totals in MANTRA, for Cosmos and EVM transactions alike. The coin was called OM until 2 March 2026, when the ticker changed with a 1:4 redenomination, so a fee quoted in OM before that date is in the old unit.
Is there a fee to stake or unstake MANTRA?
No separate staking or unstaking charge is published on mantrachain.io. Each staking action is a transaction and pays the network fee, which averaged 0.0136 MANTRA across all transactions in the week to 4 October 2026. Two costs sit on top: the commission each validator sets, and the 8-day wait before unstaked coins can move, as reported on 4 October 2026.
Do EVM and Cosmos transactions cost the same?
Not on average in the latest reported week. From 28 September to 4 October 2026, Cosmos transactions paid 159.59 MANTRA in fees and EVM transactions 34.11 MANTRA, while EVM transactions were 21.70% of the 14,274 total. Dividing fees by transactions gives about 0.0143 MANTRA for Cosmos and 0.0110 MANTRA for EVM. Both averages are our calculation, not figures printed in the report.
What does it cost to tokenize an asset?
There is no published price for tokenizing an asset on MANTRA Chain. The one cost with a measured figure is the network fee, which averaged 0.0136 MANTRA per transaction in the week to 4 October 2026. Legal structuring, regulatory approval, custody, distribution and audit are paid to other providers and vary by asset and jurisdiction.
Where are MANTRA Finance fees published?
Not on mantrachain.io. Trading, brokerage and investment-product fees are set by Mantra Finance FZE, the company that holds VARA VASP Licence VL/25/02/001, and no schedule for them appears on this site as of 11 October 2026. Check app.mantra.finance for the current schedule before you trade, and ask for it in writing if it is not shown there.
