Who runs MANTRA Chain?
MANTRA Chain Association operates the MANTRA Chain blockchain. The site's Terms name it as the operator and say it does not provide or offer any products or services. MANTRA was founded in 2020 and is led by CEO and co-founder John Patrick Mullin, according to MANTRA's llms.txt file. The companies and their roles are set out on the page about MANTRA Chain and its entities.
Where can I check MANTRA's licence and security record?
The licence held by Mantra Finance FZE, VARA VASP Licence VL/25/02/001, is set out with a link to the public register under licence and register details. The incident record, the audit status and the list of what can be verified are in the security and incident report.
Has Inveniam acquired MANTRA?
An acquisition has been announced, but this site cannot confirm that it has closed. On 16 June 2026 Inveniam Capital Partners announced plans to acquire MANTRA and its affiliated entities, and said the MANTRA brand, the team, MANTRA Chain, the MANTRA coin, MANTRA Finance and mantraUSD would continue. Is MANTRA the same as OM?
Yes. MANTRA is the new name of the OM coin. On 2 March 2026 the ticker changed from OM to MANTRA and each coin was split 1:4, a change that MANTRA's notice of 9 January 2026 describes as non-dilutive. Holders of OM on MANTRA Chain did not need to act. The ERC-20 version of OM was deprecated on 15 January 2026. The full timeline is on the MANTRA token page.
What is the supply of MANTRA?
Total supply was 8.22 billion MANTRA on 4 October 2026, against a maximum of 10.00 billion. Of that, 6.56 billion (79.76%) was circulating and 20.24% was locked. The figures come from MANTRA's Weekly Transparency Report 21, which credits CoinGecko. Supply changes over time, so read the date beside any figure. Where can I find the official contract addresses?
In MANTRA's developer documentation. The Canonical ERC-20 Contracts page on docs.mantrachain.io is the stated source of truth for token contracts on MANTRA Chain EVM mainnet. It lists wMANTRA, stMANTRA, mantraUSD, USDC, USDT, wBTC, wETH and HYPE. Copy an address only from that page, and compare it on the explorer before you send funds.
Is MANTRA coin a good investment?
This site cannot tell you, and nothing on it is investment advice. What it offers is facts to check: the supply and its date, how staking works, the price fall of 13 April 2025 and the exploit of 20 August 2026. Staking
How do I stake MANTRA?
MANTRA's materials name two routes. You can delegate MANTRA directly to a validator at mantra.zone/stake, or use Fluxtra at fluxtra.xyz to receive stMANTRA, a liquid staking token. MANTRA's staking guide lists two prerequisites: a MANTRA Chain wallet such as Keplr, and MANTRA in that wallet. Rewards are variable and not guaranteed. The rate, its method and the risks are in the staking section of the MANTRA token page.
How long does unstaking take?
Unstaking takes 8 days, the unbonding period reported for MANTRA Chain on 4 October 2026 in Weekly Transparency Report 21, and the coins cannot be moved until it ends. Check the current value in the token page's section on staking and unbonding before you stake.
Is the staking rate fixed?
No. The staking rate is variable and not guaranteed. MANTRA's weekly transparency report derives it from on-chain mint events, and in the report for 4 October 2026 the weekly average differed from the figure for the day. This page shows no rate on purpose. The current figure, its method and its date sit together in one block on the MANTRA token page, under staking.

Fees and network
What are the transaction fees?
Fees are paid in MANTRA and averaged 0.0136 MANTRA per transaction in the week of 28 September to 4 October 2026. The network took 193.70 MANTRA in fees across 14,274 transactions that week, according to Weekly Transparency Report 21. That is an average across all transaction types, not a quote for a single transaction. The fee table splits the total between Cosmos and EVM transactions.
Is MANTRA Chain EVM-compatible?
Yes. MANTRA Chain has been EVM-compatible since 17 September 2025, when release v5.0.0 added the Cosmos EVM module from Interchain Labs. MANTRA's announcement lists compatibility with Ethereum tooling such as MetaMask, Hardhat and Truffle, and ERC standards including ERC-20, ERC-721 and ERC-3643. CosmWasm contracts are supported alongside the EVM. The tokenization platform page describes the stack.
Where is the developer documentation?
At docs.mantrachain.io, the documentation host on MANTRA's list of official sites. MANTRA Chain Documentation has sections for users, developers and node operators, and its page Canonical ERC-20 Contracts is the stated source of truth for token addresses. The block explorers are at mantrascan.io and blockscout.mantrascan.io. Terms such as EVM, CosmWasm and validator are defined in the glossary.

Security
Was MANTRA Chain hacked in August 2026?
Yes. MANTRA's own post-mortem says the chain was exploited on 20 August 2026. An attacker used an unsigned-integer underflow in the balance-accounting layer of cosmos/evm, an upstream dependency, to move 720,923,967.99 MANTRA, about US$3.6 million at the time. The chain halted at 23:13 UTC on 20 August and resumed at 05:26 UTC on 22 August on patched release v8.4.0. The full timeline is in the security and incident report.
Were user funds affected?
No, according to MANTRA's post-mortem. It says the coins were moved from the burn address and a legacy genesis-era multisig, and that no customer account, exchange-held customer balance, deposit address or application contract was debited. It also says no new MANTRA was minted. None of the coins had been recovered as of 28 August 2026. The status of the funds is tracked in the August 2026 incident record.
Why did the OM price fall in April 2025?
MANTRA attributes the fall to forced liquidations on centralised exchanges. Its Statement of Events, published on 16 April 2025, says the OM token fell 92% in about one hour from roughly 18:28 UTC on 13 April, and that there were no sales by the MANTRA team in that period. This is MANTRA's own account, which this site has not verified independently. The security page has a section on the April 2025 OM price collapse.

What is MANTRA Finance?
MANTRA Finance is the platform of Mantra Finance FZE, a Dubai company that is licensed by VARA under VASP Licence VL/25/02/001 for Exchange Services, Broker-Dealer Services and Management and Investment Services. The licence was issued on 19 February 2025 and covers that company only, not MANTRA Chain Association or the blockchain. Its app is at app.mantra.finance. Every register field is under licence and register details.
What is MANTRA Zone?
MANTRA Zone is the application at mantra.zone that MANTRA lists for staking, swapping and bridging. MANTRA's ecosystem page describes it as a decentralised exchange and gateway, and its staking screen is at mantra.zone/stake. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark, and check it before you connect a wallet. Network fees for these actions are in the MANTRA Chain fee table.
What is mantraUSD?
mantraUSD is a US-dollar token in the MANTRA ecosystem. The live site describes it as backed by US Treasury bills via M^0 Protocol, and MANTRA's key dates give a soft launch in December 2025. This site has not confirmed its regulatory classification, its issuer or its redemption terms, so read mantrausd.com and docs.mantrausd.com before you rely on it. What is NVNM Chain?
NVNM Chain is a Layer 2 network on MANTRA Chain, operated by Inveniam under Interchain Security. MANTRA's sources disagree about its status: the llms.txt file dated 28 May 2026 says it is live in testnet, while the acquisition release of 16 June 2026 says its mainnet genesis block launched on 13 May 2026. MANTRA names it as the main part of its network of applications. The base chain is described on the MANTRA Chain platform page.
Which MANTRA Chain wallet can I use?
Keplr and MetaMask are the two wallets named in MANTRA's documentation. Its guides walk through connecting Keplr to the mainnet, say the explorer's wallet tools support Keplr and MetaMask, and point Ledger users to Keplr. MetaMask is also named in the EVM announcement. Never share a seed phrase or recovery phrase with anyone. The list of official domains is on the contact and support page.
How does the MANTRA Chain bridge work?
There is more than one bridge. MANTRA's documentation lists five routes into the chain: Squid, the mantraUSD bridge, Hyperlane, Lucid and IBC for transfers from Cosmos chains. The site mantra.zone is the official address listed for bridging. The old bridge for ERC-20 OM closed on 15 January 2026. Routes can change, and bridge or destination-chain charges are not listed here. Network fee data is in the fee table for MANTRA Chain.
